A Message from our founder
Growing up in Kwara State, I witnessed firsthand the challenges many individuals and families face in accessing basic necessities such as education and healthcare. The SAS Foundation was born out of a deep-rooted passion to give back, uplift communities, and create opportunities where none existed before.
In 2025, my wife, Maryam Saleeman, and I founded the SAS Foundation with a simple but powerful mission—to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. We envisioned a future where every child has access to quality education, every family can receive proper healthcare, and every young person can dream without limitations.
I believe that transformation begins when we invest in people—when we educate, empower, and equip them with the tools to succeed. The SAS Foundation is more than just a charitable organization; it is a movement of hope, a testament that together, we can build a better future for Kwara State.
I invite you to join us on this journey—whether as a donor, volunteer, or partner. Every effort, big or small, brings us closer to a world where no dream is out of reach.

Our Focus Areas: A Journey of Hope and Transformation
📚 Education: The Power to Change a Life
In many parts of Kwara State, education is a privilege rather than a right. Schools lack basic infrastructure, students share tattered textbooks, and promising young minds are forced to drop out due to financial struggles. But a single opportunity can change everything.
Through scholarships, school supplies, and teacher training, we give children a chance to learn, grow, and create a better future for themselves and their families. Because when you educate a child, you empower a generation.
🏡 Community Development: Laying the Foundation for a Better Tomorrow
Imagine living in a community where clean water is scarce, roads are impassable, and basic infrastructure is a distant dream. For many in Kwara, this is reality. Without these essentials, families struggle, businesses fail, and progress remains out of reach.
We are working to build sustainable solutions—clean water access, infrastructure projects, and environmental conservation efforts—to create communities where people can live with dignity and hope.
🚀 Youth Empowerment: From Struggles to Success
Too many young people in Kwara have talent but no tools, ambition but no opportunity. The lack of jobs and skills training forces many into a cycle of poverty and frustration. But we see their potential—and we are determined to help them rise.
Through vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and mentorship, we equip youth with the skills they need to build their own future. Because when young people thrive, society prospers.
❤️ Healthcare: Bridging the Gap Between Life and Loss
For many in Kwara, a simple illness can be life-threatening due to lack of access to medical care. Pregnant women walk miles to find a clinic, and preventable diseases like malaria and malnutrition continue to take lives.
We are stepping in to provide free medical outreach, maternal health support, and awareness campaigns on preventable diseases. Because good health is not a luxury—it is a right.
